Caitlin Richter, D.C.

Dr. Caitlin Richter is the oldest of three children in a family of dedicated athletes. She competed in a variety of sports ranging from in the pool to the soccer field, juggling multiple sports until she found her passion at 13, and played water polo year-round thereafter, leading her high school team as Captain to its first-ever sectional Championship. Studying pre-med classes and playing water polo at UC Berkeley, she contrasted the wellness approach of Chiropractic to traditional Western Medicine. As she and her teammates and were treated, she found her philosophy aligned with the health and wellness approach of Chiropractic. She began working part-time during college for the Chiropractor who had treated her over the course of many years, and saw first-hand the daily miracles that occur when the body is allowed to heal itself when the spine is aligned properly . and best of all, without medication!

After graduation from UC Berkeley, Dr. Caitlin moved to Southern California to attend Southern California University of Health Sciences where she completed her Doctorate of Chiropractic, graduating cum laude. Dr. Caitlin has been a Chiropractor to several Avon Breast Cancer Three Day walks, a visiting Doctor to the Helping Hands for Humanity Clinic in Mexico, and has worked as a part of the Sports Medicine team at the AVP Pro Volleyball circuit in Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach, CA. Recognizing the importance of nutrition to wellness, Dr. Caitlin counsels on nutrition, food allergies and Celiac Disease; she is the President of the South Bay Celiac Disease Foundation chapter and speaks regularly about Celiac Disease.

Jason Zimmer, D.C.

At 6'10" Dr. Zimmer is California's Tallest Chiropractor! Dr. Zimmer has loved sports his whole life-soccer, basketball, surfing. When he was a senior in high school, he had turned all of his attention to basketball and hoped to play in college. Things looked good when out of the blue, he was in a car accident and was side-lined due to neck and back pain.

After months of traditional medical treatments without improvement, Dr. Zimmer decided to see a Chiropractor for the first time. After just a few visits, he was back on the basketball court, (even dunking!) went on to play in college, and has never looked back. The Chiropractor explained that he had adjusted the spine to where it belonged naturally (and to where it had been before being rear-ended in a car accident) so that the body could heal itself.

As Dr. Zimmer became an advocate for Chiropractic to friends and family, he realized he had found his calling. He wanted to help other people find the same relief he had found, so they could enjoy the things they love to do.

After obtaining his BA from the University of California at Santa Barbara, Dr. Zimmer completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Southern California University of Health Sciences. He still love sports from the beach to the gym-and loves keeping patients feeling great about their own activities. So whether you are a professional athlete, a hiker or a beach cruiser, let him help you to feel great!
